Budget Analyst - Boston, MA

The MBTA Advisory Board seeks analyst to monitor/analyze the MBTA’s budgets, policies and plans. The Budget Analyst works with representatives from the Cities and Towns in the MBTA District on analyzing data, developing recommendations and preparing reports.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree and 2-3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to successfully communicate with the public and public officials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of public finance and/or transportation issues helpful
